for kids and parents

The guide we sent out for the first party. Still the best starting point for a '90s rave look, for grown-ups and little ones alike.

For the Adults 🕺

Parent Fits

  • JNCO Jeans or Baggy Cargos — the wider the leg, the better. Neon colors encouraged.
  • Platform Sneakers or Chunky Shoes — Buffalo platform sneakers, Spice Girls energy.
  • Space Buns or Y2K Hair — double buns, butterfly clips, crimped hair, the whole vibe.
  • Candy Necklaces & Kandi Bracelets — stack them up, trade them out. The more kandi, the better.
  • Tinted Butterfly Sunglasses — tiny lenses, big personality.
  • Pacifiers & Glow Sticks — classic rave accessories, bring spares to share!
  • Crop Tops, Mesh Tops, Baby Tees — Y2K silhouettes, graphic tees from the era.
  • Neon Fanny Pack — worn across the chest or around the hips. Bonus if it's bedazzled.
  • Glitter, Face Gems, Body Shimmer — more is more. This is a rave.
  • Trucker Hats or Visors — Von Dutch era. Wear it sideways.

For the Little Ones 🌟

Kid Fits

  • Baggy Neon Pants or Mini JNCOs — bright colors, wide legs, maximum fun.
  • Candy Necklaces — edible accessories? Yes. Iconic. Go for it.
  • Space Buns or Pigtails — with butterfly clips, scrunchies, and glitter.
  • Kandi Bracelets — kids can make and trade their own! Bring extras.
  • Glitter Face Paint or Gems — stars on cheeks, rainbow accents. Let them pick.
  • Colorful Sneakers or Light-Up Shoes — the ones that flash with every step.
  • Graphic Baby Tees or Overalls — patches, pins, stickers welcome.
  • Fun Sunglasses — star-shaped, tinted, tiny lenses. Let them go wild at the sunglass rack.
  • Mini Fanny Pack or Belt Bag — to carry their kandi and treasures to trade.
  • Scrunchies, Barrettes & Hair Accessories — the more the better. Stack them up.
